A tip for anybody …
A tip for anybody wanting to do this, I found that miniature bungee cord works better than the hair elastic; the hair elastic was really stretchy and didn’t hold as well as I’d thought, but the miniature bungee cord is about as strong and sturdy as the original cord inside the doll. You can get it at Lowe’s I believe.
