Colecovision Series #002 – Cabbage Patch Kids: Adventures in the Park
Footage captured directly from a Colecovision system through RF Connection.
Aside from the fact it’s a game based on the Cabbage Patch Kids, it’s not a bad game. It’s kind of like a cross between Pitfall and the Smurfs game. When you start the game you can go either right or left and the same screens will appear although you’ll be going left to right instead of right to left. In fact, if you go left, the game will be a little easier because the bouncing blue balls will be bouncing with you instead of against you. The screen will repeat themselves often except they keep getting more difficult the further you go, although it is strange that some of the screens have no obstacles on them. The hardest thing about the game is the character control. The jump is mighty weak and you often have to get right next to object before you can begin to jump in order to clear it. The character also has to be in the right spot to grab on ropes and if you walk off a ledge or jump from the wrong ledge, you’ll lose a life no matter what the distance was. The game is kind of frustrating at first, but grows on you a little once you grasp the controls. Overall, it’s not bad. I just wish I didn’t have to look at that ugly Cabbage Patch Kid the whole game.

These are soiled from use and I want to clean them and give them to my new granddaughter
when you first purchase a cabbage patch doll and open the box they come in there are instructions for how to clean them, just for future reference. Anyway you put them in a pillowcase and tie the open end and you put them in the washer then you can put them in the dryer when they are done but leave them in the pillow case until they are done drying.

I found one of my daughters dolls from about 1987 and we want to clean it up for her daughter. It says surface washable but no clues as to how.
Get a wet wash cloth and dilude laundry detergent with water (I use All free and clear) rub the fabric gently. Try not to get the cloth body too wet so it will dry quickly.
