Coming up in march is my daughter’s birthday. She has finally made up her mind on what i should get her. The only problem is the items are a little bit pricey. She asked for a littlest pet shop house thing called The Biggest Littlest Pet Shop. She is turning 12 and when i went to walmart to look at those things they looked very babyish to me. I am not going to make her grow up though because i know she enjoys them and i am okay with that. Are there any other Littlest pet shop houses to buildings that are about the same size that includes some pets. I want to surprise her with a different one. My other question is where can i find designer or artist made doll house furniture and Accessories? It’s been mine and Bella’s hobby collecting those antiques for doll houses. My grandma gave me my first set when i was about 13 and i have passes them on to my daughter. She loves them too but i haven’t found a good website for the doll house supplies.
Look for auctions, thrift stores, flea markets, and indoor yard sales for Doll House stuff!
I just bought a bunch of doll house things this summer from yard sales for a lower price than craft stores.
You could look at indoor yard sales and Ebay for a lot of just the LPS pets, and ask somebody you know who paints to repaint them and make them special one-of-a-kind pets for her to play with.
I think that would be a REALLY special present!!

There is a special type of glue,or mixture you can use. Please supply the recipe or website.
How do I make the coating? I am doing a school project please help.!.
I think all you need to do is go out and get regular bottle or Elmer’s school glue. I know it drys clear when its dry.. Just cut fabric strips and dunk them in a bowl with the glue and take your index finger and middle finger place the strip between your fingers and pull it thru a few times to force the glue in to the fabric.

I just got a project in school where I have to make a small house. I have to cut it in half so you can see inside or make it a birds eye view (preferably birds eye). I don’t know what to make the house out of. My mom said cardboard, but I don’t think that would look good at all. I would like to keep the supplies at a very cheap price too. All help is appreciated!
If you do have to go for cardboard, you can always buy single sheets of patterned paper to cover it up so you don’t actually see it. I made something like this with my nieces and I found paper that’s got bricks all over it at Hobby Lobby They have a whole section of patterned papers. We used some for "wallpaper" too.

You could get a vintage, frilly-looking dress online, which you could wear with knee-socks and Mary Jane shoes.
Put your hair in ringlet curls, and pull it back with a bow.
Paint your face a ghostly white and wear red lipstick and false eyelashes.
Some fake blood will make you look extra spooky.

I don’t really have experience working with wood, but I can learn pretty fast. Are there cylindrical pieces of wood I can buy. Do any place offer lathe services. any recommendations on getting this done. The goal is to make a japanese kokeshi doll that looks like a friend of mine. The hardest part will probably be the painting. But i can figure that out. The wood is the thing I don’t have direct supplies or tools for.
